Mc 7, 31-37

Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu từ địa hạt Tyrô, qua Siđon, đến gần biển Galilêa giữa miền thập tỉnh. Người ta đem một kẻ câm điếc đến cùng Người và xin Người đặt tay trên kẻ ấy.
Again Jesus left the district of Tyre and went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, into the district of the Decapolis. And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him.
Jesus verließ das Gebiet von Tyrus wieder und kam über Sidon an den See von Galiläa, mitten in das Gebiet der Dekapolis. Da brachte man einen Taubstummen zu Jesus und bat ihn, er möge ihn berühren.

Người đem anh ta ra khỏi đám đông, đặt ngón tay vào tai anh và bôi nước miếng vào lưỡi anh ta. Đoạn ngước mặt lên trời, Người thở dài và bảo: "Effetha!" (nghĩa là "Hãy mở ra!"), tức thì tai anh ta mở ra, và lưỡi anh ta được tháo gỡ, và anh nói được rõ ràng.
He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man’s ears and, spitting, touched his tongue; then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, “Ephphatha!”— that is, “Be opened!” —
And immediately the man’s ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly.
Er nahm ihn beiseite, von der Menge weg, legte ihm die Finger in die Ohren und berührte dann die Zunge des Mannes mit Speichel;
danach blickte er zum Himmel auf, seufzte und sagte zu dem Taubstummen: Effata!, das heißt: Öffne dich!
Sogleich öffneten sich seine Ohren, seine Zunge wurde von ihrer Fessel befreit und er konnte richtig reden.

Chúa Giêsu liền cấm họ đừng nói điều đó với ai. Nhưng Người càng cấm, thì họ càng loan truyền mạnh hơn. Họ đầy lòng thán phục mà rằng: "Người làm mọi sự tốt đẹp, Người làm cho kẻ điếc nghe được và người câm nói được!"
He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it. They were exceedingly astonished and they said, “He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
Jesus verbot ihnen, jemand davon zu erzählen. Doch je mehr er es ihnen verbot, desto mehr machten sie es bekannt. Außer sich vor Staunen sagten sie: Er hat alles gut gemacht; er macht, dass die Tauben hören und die Stummen sprechen.
