CHÚA NHẬT LỄ CHÚA THĂNG THIÊN. ASCENSION OF THE LORD (C).
Luke 24:46-53
- Jesus said to his disciples: “Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things, And behold I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Then he led them out as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven. They did him homage and then returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God.

- Chúa trao cho chúng ta một sứ mạng rất quan trọng là làm chứng về Chúa Giêsu, là Thiên Chúa xuống thế làm người, đã chịu chết và đã phục sinh. Khi đi rao giảng lời Chúa, người tông đồ không bị lẻ loi mà luôn được có Chúa ở cùng. Vậy mổi người Kitô hữu được kêu gọi đi rao giảng về Chúa Giêsu, chúng ta cần biết rỏ về Người nhờ siêng năng lắng nghe lời Chúa và sống theo luật Ngài.
Summary:
- Jesus gave us an important mission to be his witnesses: about his Incarnation, his suffering, death and resurrection. When the disciple goes out to preach his Gospel, he is not alone but God is always with him. Each of us, Christians, is called to proclaim about Jesus Christ must be diligently listened to Him, lived by His Word and abided by His commandments.

- Lạy Chúa Giêsu lên trời, Chúa đã trao lại cho chúng con một sứ mạng là đi rao giảng lời Chúa. Xin giúp chúng con hăng hái hoàn thành công việc đó để Chúa được tôn vinh và kính thờ. Xin Chúa luôn phù hộ và ở với chúng con vì nếu không có Chúa, chúng con không làm được việc gì. Amen.
Prayer:
- Dear Jesus who ascended to heaven, You gave us a mission to go out and preach the Gospel to everyone. Please help us to proclaim it with heartfelt joy and love so that others may come to know and worship You. Strengthen us and be with us always for without you we can not do anything. Amen.
